The end is nigh!!! Not really, but it's always good to be prepared... and reduces being dependent on others. :)

I'm a dad of three... ages 13, 17, and 19. The oldest just moved back in after a year out on his own. Their mother has moved out of state, so they're with me all the time. Sometimes this can make "scheduling" grown up time a problem. If you have kids, too, I'm sure you've encountered it!
It says retired under occupation. That's true. I flew helicopters in the Navy.
For fun I like to target shoot, camp/backpack/hike, garden and other outdoors-y stuff.
Church/faith, etc.: I'm a Christian. The core tenets are what is important, but people seem to divide themselves over minutia.
Politically, I lean toward less government is better, but I don't expect the rest of the world to agree with me ... probably Libertarian if I have to apply a label.
Long term, when school districts aren't such a factor in where to live) I'd like to have some acreage, grow some stuff, ride some stuff, etc. Or...really downsize and travel. Maybe there's a way to do both.
That's me. Hopefully there's someone out there who shares -at least some- of the same interests, and is comfortable with themselves.
Things that would *probably* be deal-breakers: smoking, lack of integrity, anything requiring a 12-step program, needing to be rescued. Of course lying, stealing, all that typical stuff.... Once trust is gone, it's a steep climb to regain it - just sayin'.
